Sessions are confidential, deliberate, and tailored.
A considered approach
Alpha Mandates is an independent advisory practice focused on legal clarity and strategic positioning.
This practice works with a limited number of clients and values discretion. It serves individuals, organisations and international clients who value thoughtful decision-making in complex situations.
Many legal situations escalate unnecessarily because decisions are made too quickly or without understanding the full position.
The focus here is different: clarity first, action second. The work begins by slowing the situation down.
It is guided by the belief that being right is not enough - positions must be structured to hold under pressure.
Situations where the practice is engaged
-
Matters involving the structuring of business activity, including corporate structuring, cross-border operations, and the establishment or expansion of companies in new jurisdictions.
-
Matters concerning contractual arrangements, commercial negotiations, and disputes arising in the course of business relationships.
-
Situations requiring independent legal judgment, including strategic second opinions and advisory in complex or cross-border contexts.
The Practice
Alpha Mandates is led by Bodyll Barlage, a legal professional with a background in corporate law and cross-border advisory work.
She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial Law from the University of Amsterdam and gained experience within international law firm environments, as well as Dutch corporate law practices.
Her work has included contractual matters, business structuring, and cross-border considerations, including advising international clients establishing operations in the Netherlands.
